Apostle Joe N. Frank,
a resident of El Sobrante, California was born in Birmingham, Alabama
and raised in the Riley Station area of Birmingham. When he was eleven
years old, his family moved to the state of California, where he has
lived every since.
In
1969, Apostle Frank graduated from San Francisco State University with a
Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in
Psychology. It was during his time at San Francisco State that he found
his gift for business, his love for people, and his ability to take
something small and make it grow. Working his way through school as a
bus driver for A.C. Transit, Apostle Frank came in contact with people
from all walks of life; he was able to see people from a unique
perspective, daily and it would shape his career and his ministry.
During the early 70’s Apostle Frank met a gentleman who sold cars, and
began sending customers to him on a regular basis. So much so, the
gentlemen encouraged him, “you should do this,” as a career choice for
himself. After some consideration and prayer, Apostle Frank took a
leave of absence from the transit authority to pursue the possibilities.
On his first day, he sold 14 cars.
The
following year, 1972, Apostle Frank was awarded the Press Club Ring
by the Cadillac dealership he worked for because he sold 426 Cadillac’s
in one year. In 1973, as he continued to excel and exceed sales
records, Apostle Frank was recruited by Budget Nationwide Car Sales
Division. Under his leadership, the sales division went from having one
location to twenty-six locations in just one year.
After
enjoying ten years of success, within the sales division, Apostle Frank
was again recruited from within the company, in 1982, and asked to head
up a Marketing Department for Budget Nationwide – Long Term Rental &
Leasing. As a one person team, he welcomed the challenge and once again
excelled and exceeded expectations. The following year, 1983, his
efforts generated $4,000,000.00 in revenue for the company and he was
rated number one in the country. In 1985 he was promoted to the
position of Director of Sales and Marketing of Budget Rent-A-Car, in
which he was responsible for recruiting new talent, hiring and training,
to staff the every growing leasing department
In
2005, Apostle Frank became the manger of the One Way Fleet. The
revenue goal for that year was $22,000,000.00 however he exceeded that
goal and generated revenues totally over $45,000,000.00. This awesome
accomplishment would be the back-drop for his retirement. On November
11, 2005, Apostle Frank would retire as the Director of Sales and
Marketing of Budget Rent-A-Car for the Western United States.
Throughout his entire career, Apostle Frank gave as much of his time to
the things of God, his church family, and his wife Mary and his two
children Jorall and Autrell, as he did to succeeding professionally. He
gave his time and attention to his love for the Word of God, his
ordained place in the Kingdom of God and the work he believes God has
put his hands to.
Believing no beginning is too small in the Kingdom of God, Apostle Frank
began his work in the church as a Sexton/Janitor. This was the first of
