Happy
Founder's Day
A Mighty Man
is Accountable, which allows himself to be challenged
and held to a
higher standard than the world dictates. No man can
be strong if
he is not accountable to someone else. A Mighty Man
does not
refuse instruction and always seek wise and Godly
counsel.
Hence, a man without accountability is a dangerous man.

Our Mission
It is the expressed mission and intent of The Mighty Men of Triumph to
seek out encourage, motivate and guide committed men in achieving
excellence in morality, salvation, education and character. To become
the best they can be. We also seek to motivate them to become bold
Triumphant leaders of the New Age. Triumph is calling for young me to
be ready to challenge the unknown areas of tomorrow without failure of
nerve. As we become all that we can be triumphantly, we have to
remember to look back and reach back for the generations that follow
us. We have to be ready to train them in the Triumphant ways of the
church and teach them to be Triumphant both spiritually and physically.
We hope to make The Mighty Men of Triumph, the faith based organization
for the New Age.
Long Live Triumph and Triumphant Men.
The Characteristics of a Mighty Man
I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon…if I
can. I seek opportunity not security; I want to take the calculated
risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I prefer the
challenges of life to the guaranteed existence, the thrill of
fulfillment to the calm state of utopia. I will not trade freedom for
benefit of my dignity for a hand out. I will never cower before any
master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud,
and unafraid, to think and act for myself, to enjoy the benefit of my
creations and to face the world boldly and say; with God’s help, this I
have done. And all this is what it means to be a Triumphant Man. God
bless the Triumphant Spirit.
History
I observed after Sunday services, that the men at the local Triumph
Church in Live Oak wanted and needed some type of activity for our
enrichment and to empower us. I desperately wanted something for the
young men to do. I wanted a program that would train the young men of
Triumph to be men. I started an organization called T.E.A.M., which
stands for Triumph Excellent Achieving Men. We began to meet on Monday
nights. Our subjects included preliminary procedures, proper etiquette,
public speaking and Triumphant morals.
One night while I was speaking, one of the young men said that we
needed to call ourselves The Mighty Men of Triumph and the name was
changed that night.
During one of our conferences (Annual or District), the late Prince
Jona D. Olds came to Live Oak. Some of the young men from our local
church spoke during the conference. Prince olds was impressed and when
he found out what the name of the group was, he began to carry The
Mighty Men of Triumph forward, along with the principles that we stand
for and the mission statement that we abide by.
Present Day
The Mighty Men of Triumph has grown from a local organization to
become an entity that is recognized by the national body of Triumph The
Church And Kingdom Of God In Christ. Under the leadership of the
National Chairman, Bro George W. Hendon, and the support of the brethren
of this great overcoming body, the Mighty Men of Triumph has the
potential to grow to a great magnitude.
Genesis 3:9 says, “And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto
him, Where art thou?” In 2008, that question can still be
asked. The purpose of the Mighty Men of Triumph is for men, regardless
of position or band affiliation, to come together to discuss and put
into effect the Word and works of God. We realize that we must be good
fathers, brothers, husband preachers, friends, workers, Kingdom Builders
and ultimately Mighty Men, in this day, while living by and exemplifying
Triumphant morals.
We encourage you to come together and let us reason and begin to build.
The Mighty Men of Triumph Needs “a FEW GOOD MEN” to get the teaching and
the message across to our men and then spread it abroad.
